About Me
For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with how we human beings operate as individuals and in relationships, which led me to study Psychology at A Level, Degree, and Postgraduate level.
I have always enjoyed working with people, with over 15 years’ experience in various NHS Services promoting the health and wellbeing of diverse communities of young people, adults and older adults. I have also travelled and lived abroad, enabling me to develop a deep appreciation for cultural difference and diversity.

After experiencing some personal challenges in recent years, it brought my passion for mental and emotional wellness to the foreground, and I decided to pursue further training to become a professionally qualified psychotherapist.

How I work
It can be difficult to begin to face pain from the past, so my approach is trauma-informed, with an awareness of the physiology of emotions, collaboratively working with you at your pace to promote nervous system regulation, safety and stabilisation, facilitating a conducive environment to gradually process painful emotions and experiences.

I employ a holistic integrative approach that considers the psychological, physiological, social, environmental and spiritual aspects of your life, drawing on various therapeutic modalities to enable a bespoke strategy suited to your individual needs. Some approaches include; Core Conditions, CBT, SFBT, Psychodynamic, Systemic, Narrative, Somatic, Attachment Theory, Christian Counselling, Positive Psychology and Creative Therapy.
